Exclusive Collaboration: Myriam Greff (Kintsugi) x Petites Luxures (Illustration)

This contemporary 40 cm vase, crafted in matte beige ceramic, is more than a design object: it is an ode to resilience and the fusion of arts.

Initially broken, the piece was metamorphosed through the exceptional dialogue between two expert crafts. Myriam Greff restored the structure by applying the ancestral Japanese technique of Kintsugi with 24-karat gold, turning the cracks into precious scars.

The boldness of this work lies in the treatment of a large void extending across two faces of the piece. Instead of gold, this gap was filled with an innovative paper finish, offering a unique canvas to the artist Petites Luxures.

The drawing and the fracture intertwine: the emblematic curves of her illustrated bodies extend and dialogue with the gold lines, creating a stunning visual unity. “Hot Voltige” celebrates the beauty of the accident and transforms the history of its breakage into a definitive work of art.
